Id probably bump him to about 4th and keep pacquiao around 5-6
This is a huge IF though isnt it, if come tommorow morning were talking about joshua clottey ranked in the top 5 p4p we would of witnessed the biggest upset in this sport since tyson-douglas
Re: so what if clottey does beat manny were does that put him?
I hope we do see this happening!:D I'd put Clottey about 4 on the p4p list!
Re: so what if clottey does beat manny were does that put him?
Not sure but it would certainly be the biggest upset of the year.

That's more accurate. Clottey is very good, so it isn't Tyson/Douglas. It would definitely be the years big upset though.

and god plz let it happen lol

If Joshua Clottey wins over Manny Pacquiao, I would like to see him immediately fight Floyd Mayweather Jr., or to a lesser extent, Moseley if it so happens that he thus become triumphant in his bout against PBF.
While viewing the Zab Judah vs Josh Clottey bout for the nth time... it has become apparent, IMO, that Clottey also poses a serious threat against PBF.
This is so because it is quite noticeable that when Judah is at his best, he was Floyd-like in his manner of counter-punching. So too, when he goes on his slick defensive moves, he also was quite the equal to the brilliance of Money May in that regard.
However, in that same bout mentioned earlier, Zab was also at his worst situations against Clottey, when he was Floyd-like. This is what made me want to see the real Mayweather go up against a rock-like defensive performer in Johsua Clottey, if ever it becomes a possibility.

Are you trying to say the Judah is on par with Mayweather defensively?
Re: so what if clottey does beat manny were does that put him?
Puts him next in line to start making stupid claims that he can beat mayweather just like everyone else does
Re: so what if clottey does beat manny were does that put him?
Manny to # 2
Clottey to # 4
Re: so what if clottey does beat manny were does that put him?
it would make a mess in the p4p department . but clottey would just have to be ahead of the Pacman if he won.
Re: so what if clottey does beat manny were does that put him?
Think its very winnable...he has to 'want' it and bring it to Manny early. If he wins I really dont consider it a monumental upset in regards to division but more so as a status thing, name recognition and where these guys are headed....for the sport.Clottey is a very sound fighter physically and size, opposition and skills considered.
Hate p4p fame game but not sure Clottey higher than Manny if he beats him.In division yes but again it comes down to ones definition of p4p.Good timing, just got cable on tonight ;D;D

that's because if Floyd was to whoop Pacquiao he would just be backing up the claim of being p4p #1, and then most would just make a million excuses as to why it's not a legit win, and how Floyd avoided Wladimir Klitschko
Re: so what if clottey does beat manny were does that put him?
I wouldn't be overly shocked to be honest, Clottey is tough, naturally bigger and very sound really. I don't think it would knock Pac that far down the p4p ladder though really as he would easily rule the 140lbs division IMO.
More realistically though I think Pac wins a U.D. tonight, as I mentioned earlier Clottey is a tough sod and he will take some punishment tonight before being stopped so I've been and had some money on a Pac points win.
