Your preference, Pac vs Floyd, Or Mosley..

One of the HBO commentators, I think Emmanual, was saying when they were discussing Pac's next fight, that he would actually much prefer to see Pac fight Mosley. Because Mosley is a much more attacking and offensive fighter, and isn't afraid to trade, especially when someone really lands on him, as Pac does...

I mean, Floyd is the undefeated unstoppable number one, and the Floyd fight just makes a tonne more sense and basically MUST happen at some stage..
It is almost like, unfinished business in the fans eyes, and for that reason I want to see that fight more than Pac v Mosley..

But as HBO said, for the actual spectacle and excitement and fights to look back on as a real classic, I am really being sold on what a great fight Pac vs Mosley would be... I originally felt disappointed at the thought of those two fighting rather than Mayweather, but now I would probably not feel much disappointment at all.

It is often hard to image ANY fight Pac is in being anything less than completely action packed and exciting, but with this Clottey fight, you can get an idea of how that can be nullified against a guy who is incredibly defense oriented, as Floyd is.. Although he's certainly not afraid or even cautious really, just intelligent and incredibly good at what he does.. But defensive none the less and can sap the urgency and excitement out of any fight.

For the build up and the questions that need answering, Floyd would be a great nail biting fight, but I think Mosley would be more exciting..


Which would you prefer?

I remember a few months back a lot of members on this site would prefer Pac fight Mosley based on style matchups to produce a classic and it would be, not just for the hardcore fans but the general public also, but it seems the general public and quite a lot of boxing fans want the May-Pac matchup to determine the no.1 p4p fighter.

My preference would of course be Mosley.

I chose whatever as long as the Floyd's fight happens but I should have added a clause: before we're in for a grumpy old man's fight like Hopkins-Jones.

Pac vs Mosley would be much more entertaining, but I want to see Mayweather get busted up. Who doesnt? Although I would actually like to see Mosley beat Floyd, heck he's earned it!

I would prefer Pacquiao vs Floyd.

Floyd stylistically is a harder fight for Pacquiao than Mosley. I would like to see how Pacquiao handles Mayweather slick defensive counter punching style.

Mosley on the other hand would obviously be a more exciting fight considering he has a more crowd pleasing style than Floyd and Mosley certainly has the power and skillset to beat Pacquiao.

I actually have Pacquiao - Mosley a 50/50 fight where i favor Mayweather against Pacquiao.

i got no preference here but it's more sensible if pacquaio takes the winner of mosley-floyd.

I want Shane to win and then fight Pac Man but if Floyd beats Shane then it would be a bigger fight with the Pac Man.

Gotta be Pac - Floyd as long as Floyd does beat Shane. I think that these might be Floyds las 2 fights too before he retires undefeated and then claims he is without doubt the greatest that ever lived. He would be wrong but he would be in the top 10 IMO!
