mitchell-katsidis may 15th, upton park

Have been told by many in the know how over the weekend in and around west ham football club that the fight has indeed been confirmed to take place on the 15th may at west ham utd football stadium.

Will be 40,000 all seater and the club expect every single seat to be sold. Have already been on the phone to west ham utd enquiring about getting a few rooms sorted in the hotel for a few mates coming down and even they pretty much confirmed they had started taking bookings for the 15th may

Excellent news, I'm most definitely there. My only annoyance will be that I'll be shelling out for the PPV that night, so will feel a bit short-changed. Hope Mitchell doesn't try to please the crowd too much & using his skills to break Kats down.

Just booked my tickets up via frank warrens website, no f*cking idea of where i am sitting other than 3 tickets came to over £150 quid

Will be doing a role call on here within the next few days and will be extremely dissapointed if any of yourself, merkin, H etc go missing come fight night

Theres always another day to have that wedding or life saving surgery;D;D;D

I've never seen Mitchell fight, but apart from Prescott his record looks full of dross.

Katsidis has been in a lot of tough fights, and lost his most important ones. But he's never been an easy night for anyone, let alone anyone as unproven as Mitchell. What do you guys feel about this, because I'm tempted to drop some cash on Katsidis?

I think Mitchell will box smart, bust Katsidis face up and then take him out. But even if Katsidis draws him into a tear-up I think Mitchell, being the fresher and unexposed, will win that too.

I bet they'll be plenty of decent judges that will make a strong case for Kats though. So maybe odds against will prove to be a decent bet.

its a similar case to what we saw saturday. Mitchell hasnt exactly got a cv to warrant a fight with katsidis but in terms of talent he posseses the lot. One of those fighters that doesnt do anything particularly great just does everything well and nothing bad.

Defensively he`ll have to be on his sharpest on the night. I just see him eeking out the rounds especially early doors and taking a comfortable decision

I would of gone to this if i still lived in London.

I am not far from London, so I might think about going to this fight.

Mitchell is going to pick apart kats all night. It's a smart move by Mitchell's handlers a big name that will make the fight exciting but still limited enough to let Mitchell shine.
