Re: Dear Bernard and Roy....
Good thing they only show this fight once huh? I'm pretty freaking amazed Roy lasted the distance to be honest.
I have always wondered how a Hopkins-Toney fight would have gone (prime for prime of course)
Re: Dear Bernard and Roy....
3 things I expect to hear in the coming days
Bernard Hopkins: You see the way I punished him? If this was 15 rounds like before I would of killed him
Roy Jones: Them delays when he was faking took me out my rhythm. I would of had him if not for that.
Both: Bernard Hopkins-Roy Jones 3 must happen now
Re: Dear Bernard and Roy....
Surely one of the worst fights we will see this year. Jones is so gun shy when up against an opponent that poses a threat and Hopkins has increasingly become an actor looking to buy more time. I don't think there is any way these two can justify PPV ever again.....unless Hopkins is serious about wanting to get knocked out at HW.

No. No they do not deserve any more of our money the bastards.
Jones pulled the same crap he did against Tarver in the 3rd fight, he would not throw any punches !
And its so frustrating becus this is the worst I've seen Hopkins look in ages, and Tarver looked terrible in the 3rd fight with Roy as well, I mean Roy could have won both fights if he hadn't punked out and been so damn gun shy !
And Bernard really does have a future in Hollywood after this little display tonight...

No he does not. That's some of the poorest acting ever

Yeah, BHop needs to leaving the acting alone. It was terrible, he was terrible, Roy was terrible, and the whole fight was a terrible sham.
Re: Dear Bernard and Roy....

Well compared to his peers 54-7 isn't all bad
Ray Robinson 173-19-3
Archie Moore 185-23-11
In fact RJJ's record is damn near identical to Bob Foster's 56-8-1

True but when you think about it, RJJ in his prime would of beaten all the fighters he's lost to, quite comfortably IMO. So thats what makes it frustrating to me being a RJJ fan and all.
Where as Bob Foster's losses were at Heavyweight, when he was too small to compete against fighters like Frazier, Ali.

You can say that about Ray Robinson and Archie Moore (bar the Ali and Marciano fights) as well.
Ezzard Charles a GREAT fighter had a kind of poor record 93-25-1
