Serious question about a title belt and a reality show!!

OK gents...Anyone here watch the show Pawn Stars on the History channel...It is about a Pawn shop and they film people coming in selling or pawning stuff and trying to haggle'''''

They get some crazy shit coming in there..Civil War cannons...Muskets....Classic cars....you name it they get people trying to hock it...

Anyhow....When I watch the show you always see an IBF (What looks like an IBF) title belt usually being Rick the shop owner when they show him dealing w someone....It is driving me nuts to know who's belt it is/was or how they got it...Better yet is it a genuine title belt or replica someone pawned...Anyone by crazy chance know...

But a title belt that belonged to a champion is what makes it worth having....;)

I was more or less curious if anyone sees the show and may know....I actually emailed them a bit back and asked...Hell for the right price and IF it belonged to a champion I would seriously be interested in buying it

I watch the show too. It's amazing to see all the cool stuff that comes through there. I have wondered the same thing too. If you ever find out let us know.

I never noticed the belt before but Pawn Stars is a very entertaining show.

The bald headed guy is the best one on there.

They hella rip people off tho. lol

I've seen the show a couple times, it's ok. I really like the AMerican Pickers show more. Wasn't it an IBF belt that got jacked from Abraham at the airport? ;D

They paid 100, it worth 1000 in piss poor condition and after a 350 restoration around 2500... bunch of crooks:mad:

hmmm... "Pawn Stars" One would think they'd have a Pawn Shop? I took a 'quick' look at the history.com web site for Pawn Stars and saw nothing but episode dvd's & t-shirts. :vd:

I watch it when there's nothing on and ALWAYS get roped into it. It's very entertaining. That's a good question. I've never noticed until now.

Yeah but they have to either

A. HOPE someone walks in and is wanting to buy it...

B. depending on if or how long that takes they have the money tied up in it...

c. If they have to have it sold at an auction house they lose the automatic fee for the auction and lose the appraisal price that the auctions use an outside appraiser for and they need to HOP it actually goes for 2500..

Those are the best scenario prices...does not mean they will get that much for it
