Yeah it was on last night. It was definitely a sad story but given the time constraints of a show like that they didn't get too in depth. He was getting by panhandling and living off people giving change to the "champ" in Camden, NJ. Had a stroke a few years back that left one of his legs paralyzed. Showed his knockout of Roger Mayweather too I'm pretty sure. Hopefully he is still getting help but it is hard to give someone much of a chance at a happy ending when they've been on crack over a decade. At least he has contact with his sons now.
I watched it too, very sad story. It's amazing how people can go from having it all to having nothing so fast.
That poison will do that to you...Crack, Speed, Coke, etc.......
Thats the only way to describe it...POISON...or else so many would not lose so much over it...
I actually cried during my viewing of the show. I've watched Intervention many times, and it has never affected me like his episode. I remember him on NBC in his prime. He had a big smile and seemed quite articulate in his post-fight interviews. The good news is he made it through the 90 day program. Alot of the subjects on Intervention don't make it that far. It says as of the broadcast he has been sober since November 9, 2009. Good luck Rocky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
