Kevin Mitchell vs Amir Khan??
As i said years ago these two fighters have to meet each other somewhere throughout their careers.Its only a matter of time this domestic awesome fight will happen sooner or later.The question is who will win,when and where will the fight happen??I would love it to be made at Wembly.It would be the biggest domestic fight in the U.K since the Eubank vs Benn days.....truly great times.Will all know Mitchell and Khan have bad blood in between them and it would be a toe to toe war with two up and coming stars in the prime.

Hate to say it but khan would have his number. Mitchell is very much your conventional fighter and would struggle desperately to contain khan from getting his combinations off.
Would expect a similar outcome to that of khan-kotelnik

I understand where your coming from mate,with Khan being the more classier fighter with the fast feet and blinding hands but it wont be a micky mouse match up as the Khan vs Kotelnik fight.Mitchell has improved alot after coming back from a hand operation and i expect him to be on game on the 15 of may.Just look how he made Prescott look like a fool when he out classed him.Mitchell is getting very close on being a well all rounded fighter and just wont steam in the bullish and throw crazy hayemakers,he's starting to use knowlege and well equipted boxing skills from the Igly gym.I've followed Mitchell when he first came on the scene and i've seen him change into a better fighter over the years.He's still young and he's building himself as another Hatton in respect of being a down to earth lad from the council estate.He could possible follow in the same foot steps as Hatton.

I think Mitchell still needs more fights to become a name known to more people outside of the hardcore boxing fans. At present not many people know enough on him to make it into the clasic UK fight it should be. Not like Eubank/ Benn etc.
Khan see's himself as having bigger fish to fry and would see it as a step down to fight Mitchell.
It should happen, but won't for a while unless Khan loses or Mitchell keeps winning big fights.

i hope it happens eventually, as long as both fighters keep winning,why no.it would be a big fight over in these parts. as much as i hate to say it tho i think khan wins it

Unfortunately, Khan by stoppage for me. He would be too quick for Mitchell.

Pretty similar to calzaghe-froch where they are both on the same level but in terms of selling fights are in different leagues
Mitchell represents high risk, low return for khan right now

I believe Mitchell could take it into the trenches. Khan can't deal with that, also the fact he has a glass jaw. I'm going for mitchell.

Too early yet to chuck him in the deep end. Paulie represents low risk, high reward. Clearly by the fact they are sticking the fight on ITV shows they simply want to raise Amir's profile through this fight.
Much like we were saying about Mitchell, not enough reward for fighting.
Paulie is a well respected (mostly) fighter who shouldn't bang him out

I like Mitchell in this fight, khan is talented but doesn't have a chin or durabilty. Look at who they're fighting next ? Mitchell is fighting a dangerous big hitter in Katsidis and Khans fighting a guy that couldn't knock down a 95 year old granny with a hammer.

I actually think Khan will be way way too much for Mitchell, seriously. There is no way Mitchell deals with Khans speed. Plus, I'd say that Mitchell looks pretty topped out at Lightweight, with Khan only getting bigger IMO. I don't know how you can complain about Khan taking on Malignaggi and backing it up with Mitchell fighting the big hitter in Katsidis. The same Katsidis that went almost to hell and back with Graham Earl. Malignaggi, despite his lack of punch power, is a better boxer / fighter than Katsidis can ever dream of being.
