This year the best year in boxing in a long time?
Okay, well we are from the end of the year to really know, with so much time and negotiations in front of us. So much uncertainty. And after last year, that is a tough act to follow, in my honest opinion. But I truly believe if all these match ups come through, and with what we have gotten already, we could be on the verge of it surpassing last year, and be a reigning best of the best in a long time year. It will take all the stars aligning properly, and many things to happen...so, so many variables. But I do believe it possible.
What are your thoughts?

enclined to agree, so f*cked off with 2009 and will always remember it as the year that fights got called off at the last minute
2010 is on a par right now with 2007 which was also another vintage year for boxing

If we get to see pac vs mayweather and haye in with a klitscko it would seal the deal for me, also would love to see a Bradley vs Alexander fight

I agree, this year is going to be good, and could has the the potential to be great.

Vazquez vs. Marquez 5/22
Foreman vs Cotto 6/5
Ward vs Green 6/19
Marquez vs Diaz 7/31
Pascal vs. Dawson 8/14
And that's just this summer, not including the rest of the Super Six, and possibly Pacquiao vs Mayweather. Should be a great year.

you forgot Williams Vs. Cintron which IMO could be FOTY, and a possible rematch between the winner against Martinez

Deffo YB great year after the year of pull outs last year, 2007 and 2008 were decent as well I think 2007 was the best year in a long time till 2010 happened.

Yea, 2nd time I've heard that about 2007. I wasn't really on the scene in 2007 so it likely slipped under my limited radar.

I agree but Malignaggi? Shit I think I'd rather watch grass. I hope Khan can knock this joker out and quickly.
