Poor Pathetic Jose Sulaiman and his wbc
According to Thomas Hauser, after Floyd Mayweather refused to pay for the WBA super-interim-regular championship, Jose Sulaiman though he smelt an opportunity.
Sulaiman offered the two fighters his “diamond championship” belt, for the discount price of 1% of their pay for the night. After a quick rejection, Sulaiman tried to strike another deal: He would let them fight for the diamond championship belt if they gave him $45,000.00.
Again Sulaiman was told to get lost.
Thank God fighters are starting to come to their senses, and see how cancerous and pointless the alphabet gangs are.

Dan Rafael also reported in his Friday chat that: "The WBC begged and pleaded with the promoter and camps to take the title and they all refused their nonsense."
Re: Poor Pathetic Jose Sulaiman and his wbc

But then he would start selling interim bum fight belts, super bum fight belts, and diamond bum fight belts, and he would ruin the whole prestigious bum history.

I would definitely accept a cool click point, it's the small icon in the star shape at the left under the text box :D And glad it made you and Lance laugh a bit :)
Re: Poor Pathetic Jose Sulaiman and his wbc
This just in:
According to fightnews Jose Sulaiman is selling the WBC Welterweight Silver Belt to the winner of the June 5th fight between Jo Jo Dan and Selcuk Aydin.
What little boy didn't grow up dreaming about being WBC Silver Belt Champion.

Although it's not got anything to do with your point which I agree with, I'm once again pissed off at another Thomas Hauser article produced by Bob Arum. How did such a talented writer basically become his mouthpiece. He puts forward at least one argument that is factually incorrect there regarding PBF's 'women beating' which was disproved by Killersheep on here a few months back. You can search both Michigan & Nevada state court records and quickly discover that PBF has no conviction for domestic abuse or battery of a female, as he was cleared in all of those cases. I don't know whether he did it or not, although given family backgrounds and the propensity for boxers to be violent against women, I wouldn't be surprised, but the fact is a proper journalist should not be printing stuff that is factually untrue. If more boxers actually acted on it, they could stop boxing journalism (once considered the best in sports writing) from being a running joke.
Anyway that's besides the point, just as someone who's a qualified journalist, it's truly embarassing how poor most boxing journalism is. I mean you expect this stuff from boxingscene, but Hauser? The guy is a phenomenal writer. Anyway that's my rant over :-X

Blimey Jaz, you are one serious Floyd nuthugger.
I understand how that piece would upset Floyd fans, Hauser is clearly not his biggest fan, but that was a bloody good read. Love how he lets the quotes tell it.
Can you link me to Killersheeps defence of Floyd the woman beater?

Quiet you Calzaghe fanboy ;D
I'm struggling with the new forum, but it's the thread that made Diane leave so you should be able to find it through her last post.
It's not so much this one, it's the fact he's an excellent writer, but he permanently puts out Arum biased material. Plenty of journalists I like don't like Floyd or go in on him like Bill Dettloff & Jeff Ryan. It's the lack of basic journalistic practice that bothers me with Hauser, I'll happily say it's a well-written article, but he consistently does this. It's what bothered me about his excellent PED article or his lack of anything regarding Margarito.
