Mundine v Miranda for WBA light middle weight belt...... What a joke

Just seen that Anthony "The Joke" Mundine is going for the vacant WBA International Light Middle Weight belt challenging Jorge daniel Miranda http://www.saddoboxing.com/boxingfor...=newthread&f=7
Seriously are promotors taking the piss?

Boxrec have Mundine at No.4 middleweight
And Miranda at No.103:o light middleweight

No how can the mundine team continue to promote these terrible match ups as world title fights and people continue to buy it is beyond me.

His last fight was with medley and was to be at the light middleweight limit but mundine was unable to make weight 2 days out and had the weight limit changes to middleweight. Now he comes out and has another bout scheduled at light middleweight.
These guys have to have a hard look at them selves because these terrible fights will ruin australian boxing.
Thank god for Darchinyan, Geale and Katsidis or the Aus boxing community would have nothing. Now we just need the local media to start picking up these guys profiles with the non boxing community.

I've met many Australians in my travels I always steer the conversation to boxing. Man, women and child all seem to be in agreement the Mundine is a douche. It's kinda sad I mean he has talent, great hand speed and could be a real threat in the ring but his mouth compounded with his KO loss to Ottke started him down a path of dislike and lately he's been a total joke. I will say though, fighting Miranda isn't a bad fight for him relatively speaking although a fight at middleweight definitely shouldn't be for a light middleweight title.

His hole career has been Manipulated to make his stats look great but when you delve deeper you see he has fought always in Australia against has beens or lowly ranked easy beats,on the World stage He is an absolute joke and an embarresment to the Great Aussie fighters we have had over the Years.
He could have at least got some credibility by accepting the Golovkin Fight for the WBA World title but he chose to not sign the contract,We all were aware he had absoluely no hope of beating the promising Golovkin,but he confirmed our suspicions by taking the cowards option.!!!!!

I know nothing about Jorge daniel Miranda but sounds like he's on a par with Crazy Kim and the other recent Mundine opponents.

This joker Mundine was claiming he'll beat Floyd Mayweather. The guy isn't on Floyd's radar. The only way Floyd knows who he is is if he plays Fight Night 4.

I have long written Mundine off. It's clear that he'd rather stay over in Australia, fight consistantly sub-par opposition to remain a "name" and is comfortable making lack luster prize money to do so... mixed with his on-queue ridiculous "call outs" that he knows will never happen but create a buzz for how crazy they are to keep him in the AUS boxing community's eye.

What fighter coming off any win doesn't....cotto just beat yuri freakin foreman on one leg and i've already heard people saying he should fight mayweather too. So hell why not.
