BBC News - Ban on helicopter arrival at primary school prom


Anyway some parents had their application refused to land a helicopter at their child's school so their 11 year old could arrive at their end of school prom in style.

Say what? You want to fly in your child, and have them arrive like some kind of celebrity superstar that the other kids will likely envy and hero worship at the the same time.

I'm so glad the school said no to the helicopter, I just wish they had been stronger and said no to the child attending full stop.
