Your top 10 heavyweight fights!!!!!

List your personal top 10 heavyweight fights.Dont have to be famous or title fights but your personal favorates.

Here is a few off the top of my head.

• Ali-Fraizer 3,non stop action for 14 rounds.
• Holyfield-Bowe 1,both fighters exceded them selfs.Also round 10 is one of the greatest rounds in boxing history.Remember shouting at the tv watching this fight
• Cooper-Moorer,knockdowns galore
• Tyson-Douglas,biggest upset in sports
• lewis-Ruddock,remember watching this fight as a kid and was shocked when Lewis got the KO
• Danny Williams-Tyson, shock win for williams pluse I made about 200 quid on this fight as I had money on Williams.
• Ali-Forman,biggest fight ever and massive upset,most talked about fight in the history
• Forman-Moorer,fairy tale comes true
• Rogan-Skelton-heart and guts wins the fight for Rogan

I need to give it a bit more though before I finnish the list but its a start.;D

I stopped caring about HW's a long time ago, but yeah... Ali-Frazier III was the best ever, IMO. Ali-Frazier I wasn't bad either... an epic fight with huge amounts of buildup and hype. And it lived up to it. Ali-Foreman was a huge upset, exposing Foreman for the one-dimensional bully he was. Although I was never a Holmes fan, Holmes-Norton was a classic HW fight. Lewis fights were good when he chose to come to fight. I enjoyed his revenge over Rahman in their second fight. Let's see..... I can't think of 10 heavyweight fights I'd watch again. It's been a long time since the HW division had any quality to it.

Good man for putting Rogan in there, a true warrior and was the real winner of the fight. Good news is he's back training and is hoping to get a fight before christmas.

I sense an incoming moderator's boot. Hopefully it will be a swift one.

Just happened to see a great 90-minute special today called "Thrilla in Manila" about Ali-Frazier 3. That remains my all-time favorite HW fight. Of course, they had to ruin it with an old, fat Larry Holmes spouting off about how Ali was overrated. Spoken like the bitter, racist, fat bum he will always be.

I knew that'd get a reaction. Good catch! ;D

I added that because Holmes was always bitching about how he never got a fair shake from the press or the public because he was black. And he always belittled white HW's as well. Oh he was racist, all right. Always bitching and moaning... he made me sick just listening to his incesant whining.

I thought Larry Holmes always respected Muhammad Ali ? as they were old sparring partners ? and Muhammad Ali wasn't racist ? he was probably one of the most insulting boxers of all time, yet everyone loves him.

Larry Holmes had a good reason to be the way he was, he was never respected during his title reign. And when he fought Gerry Cooney, President Reagan phoned him to wish him good luck, there was alot of racism during that fight.

And Larry Holmes was so racist that during the staredown, he said to Gerry Cooney "lets have a good fight". And they also do a charity thing together now i believe ?

The fact is Larry Holmes is a top 5 Heavyweight, and only recently in last few years. Has he started to get his respect.
