Re: Fastest Boxers Who Fought Eachother.
Great list! I'd say the most blaring one I can think of was Mosley/DLH, both in their primes.
When they opted to slug, it was like looking at two Helicopter blades coming at each other. One of my all time favorite fights for sure.
I guess Floyd vs Judah can be mentioned as well. Judah was never the most technical guy but his hand speed is rediculous
Re: Fastest Boxers Who Fought Eachother.
I wached a Hearn fight the other day :o That guy was incredible, so fast, so strong and his technique was perfect.
He really would have beaten anyone today
Re: Fastest Boxers Who Fought Eachother.
yeah.. I agree Judah and Floyd should be on the list
Re: Fastest Boxers Who Fought Eachother.
Camacho-Leonard was just sad sad. Might go off the reservation and a reach...Mark Johnson vs Fernando montiel ??? Can you imagine if peaked Johnson fought Tapia....nice!! Would put that up with any as far as fast hands combined really.
Re: Fastest Boxers Who Fought Eachother.
although neither were at their fastest, Jones Jr Vs Calzaghe

i wouldn't really say Taylor was ever considered a fast fighter, he had decent speed and that's bout it

His technique wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he was definitely a great. He had really good speed, but not true elite speed. I think the combination of his speed with those long arms made his speed even harder to get around, and his power didn't hurt either, but there are a lot of things he didn't do that the right guy could have exploited.

I'm not sure who it was against, I've not seen much Hearns footage, but he was blinding, massive punches coming in from all angles and his footwork was outstanding, getting in and out of range and unleashing some leathel shots.
