will a super six every finish as started
What do you think of the format of the super 6?
its a fantastic idea and the current one has some great prospective fights but its not exactly gone to plan
2 of the original 6 out? one of the last round of fights might now be pointless, green and a new entrant with no chance of progress?
the cruiserweight one is scheduled and what if a fighter suffers a bad knockout in his first bout like taylor? or what if there is an injury again?
i would say there must be better ways to organise the competition to try and ensure the entrants stay consistent and the copmpetition stays fair?
Re: will a super six every finish as started
how about this for an idea
change it to a super 8 and after each round the 2 fighters with the worst defeats are out?
round 1 - 4 winning fighers and 2 loosing fighters progress
round 2 - 3 winning fighters and 1 loosing fighter progress
round 3 - semis
round 4 - final
just as much action, less chance of it all going wrong
you could also have the excitement of a draw after each round?
as well the current system seems to have too much ambiguity about who is in or out
Re: will a super six every finish as started
never thought the super 6 was a good idea due to the timeframe involved to get to a winner - events like what have occurred were always likely the longer it went on.
TV coverage has been shit in UK too
If this had been a prizefighter and all in one night imagine the audience it would have got !
Its the future ;)
