The Official Magnificent Seven Thread
Obviously the line up isn't as magnificent as it was with Ryan Rhodes and Darren Barker pulling out but the card is still pretty decent:

Who's buying it? I'm in despite proclaiming at the start that there was 'no chance in hell' I'd shell out.
Looking forward to Sexton/Chisora more than anything to be honest.

Can see Enzo Mac being knocked out this weekend. Again. Just have a feeling.
Re: The Official Magnificent Seven Thread
Hall-Konecny could be fight of the night. They have a similar come forward style so it looks a guaranteed right tear-up.
I reckon Sexton-Chisora is purely about who has the better stamina. There was nothing in the last fight. They have both improved (Sexton is definitely a smarter fighter now). But maybe Chisora has better conditioning for the later rounds. Not sure whether to back the underdog Sexton or the late stoppage for Chisora?
I watched a few fights of Cleverly's opponent Murat. He reminds me a bit of Arthur Abraham - high guard, punching in bursts - but he doesn't have the power and looks made for Cleverly to drill him down the middle.
If Brooks is world-class he needs to stop Jennings.
Not looked at the Enzo fight yet. I expect stoppage wins for DeGale and Macklin.
Re: The Official Magnificent Seven Thread
Looks like a solid card. Enzo may be knocked out again. Cleverly in with his biggest threat yet. Chesora and Sexton will be entertaining. All around good card.
Re: The Official Magnificent Seven Thread
Its a surprise Gavin is not in the seven,to me He is the Best.

Gavin's fight looks like a novice learner job (doddle) - the others are meant to be "competitive" 12 round title fights.

Yes this is a late replacement He was supposed to be fighting Woodhouse bit of needle there aswell, hopefully Frankie can fight him after this one.

Forgot about that. Woodhouse-Gavin would have definitely replaced the magnificant 7 fights that fell through.
Re: The Official Magnificent Seven Thread
Just found out I've won two tickets to this. Absolutely buzzin. ;D
Re: The Official Magnificent Seven Thread
I bought my tickets for this one about 11 hours before Barker dropped out and 15 before Rhodes rumours started, and I thought the whole thing was falling apart, but *fingers crossed* there hasn't been any other disasters, and I'm still looking forward to it.
Some good competitive fights, and as well as Enzo and Clev's fights, I also hope Sexton and Chisora go at it more than some of the other British heavyweight fights of the last decade, and Brook Jennings should be a goodie.
