mighty mike should be a good test for danny garcia. if he can get past him and look impressively, i think he'll be ready for more serious competition. kid has speed, power and alot of talent.
He's not bad, but the best fighter he's been against (Ashley Theophane) had him outboxed & beaten although I was not surprised the judges gave it to the house fighter on the cards. If he can use that as a learning experience, he could be very good, but I just see some of the other 140/147lbers on the way up being too much for him such as Jesse Vargas, not to mention the guys currently at the top of the division.
Is Garcia-Arnaoutis on TV? If so, what channel?

Absolutely amazing fight last night. I scored some free tickets to see this and damn I would have paid the listed price for what I got out of it. Danny Garcia is a true up and coming star. He wasn't really animalistic last night but more of a calm sniper. Sending hard looping right hands to the stomach and eventually bringing that up top.The punches that floored Mighty Mike were simple. Short,hard and accurate. You could here the hard thumping noise on poor Mike's head throughout the building. Again impressive performance last night from Garcia and I can't wait to see who his next matchup will be.
man, after seeing danny garcia fight last night, i don't know anymore. i mean, he does have mad power which makes him always dangerous but i thought he looked vulnerable last night. maybe it was the step up in competition but i thought mighty mike was able to tag him some good shots. another thing i saw that i didn't like about garcia is that he didn't throw very many combinations. mainly single and 1-2 punches. i still think he's a very good prospect but against better opponents, he's going to have to step it up alot. i think he's still got a good future but i think he's further away from a title shot than i anticipated. he still needs alot of work. mighty mike was a good, safe test for him last night because let's face it, his career is slipping badly. but overall, nice win for danny but just saw a lot of flaws in him.
