Seriously I have no idea why it took me this long to get netflix. I don't even care that much about actually getting real discs in the mail so I only got the 1 disc plan for 8.99 but the streaming feature is seriously making me wonder why anyone would even bother spending 100 dollars a month on some crappy cable tv plan where you have very little control over what channels you get so you end up paying for the lifetime channel and the fucking game show network. Cable TV is a moronic and (hopefully) quickly dying business plan.

Actually with netflix instant and hulu.com I'm not sure what the argument for cable tv is. Watching live sports is the only reason to have it anymore.

I should get this but it's so stupid that I haven't yet. I have a PS3 but I have soooo many things automatically withdrawing from my bank account. Water/power/garbage bills for both my apartment and my house, Comcast (which is a frightening $200), phone bill, gym and that doesn't include rent.

Every single fucken night I try to fall asleep and I flip through Comcast's ondemand movies for like a whole hour deciding what I want to watch before bed. They come on every Monday at 12AM. This week was shitty, the only new movie was that gay ass The Lovely Bones movie which I will NOT watch.

I can't get rid of it though because of live sports and Boardwalk Empire which I never want to end, ever. Every week it gets better. I should get Netflix but that shit would just add to my automatic withdrawal. I would cancel HBO for it but the boxing kills me, I cancelled showtime and I figured I would just watch streams but I don't.

Along with recordable live TV it's def. one of the greatest inventions ever.
