If Margarito HURTS Pacquiao...what would you all think?
Now I know that that's a broad question...but I'd really like for you fellars to seriously think about it & gimmee your thoughts. You see, after seeing the stats & hearing about the ludicrous amount of weight that Margarito "put on"...it got me thinking...& wondering...& pondering...if you guys thought of things the same way that I do...so here's my question...
Just outta curiousity...& I hate to think shit like this...but what’s on my mind is this : If Margarito hurt Pacquiao...I mean like permanently...would they change these fucking ridiculous weight issues?
Lamps, Kellerman, & Steward were all just gushing over Pac & how great he is & what a celebrated figure in the public/boxing eye that he is...would a devastating accident like brain damage or coma or some crazy shit like that...what would be the end result.
Would that change the face & rules of boxing?
Would it change it for the better?
Would it get rid of this farcical catch weight business?
Would it just be another thing swept under the rug?
Just hypothetically speaking here...

...& for the record...I aint wishing that shit at all on Pac...& I know that's a dark way of thinking about it...but I just think that's a massive weight gain/difference.

I'd think "Whupty damn do" Tony is like 80 pounds bigger than Manny....I'd also think Manny made a miscalculation in the fight in order for that to occur.
And then I'd think why the hell is Wacko back on here when apparently he's too freaking busy for us

I think they said 164-165lbs...seems like 16-17lbs over Pac & they said he was either 147-148lbs. Waiting to hear it again...to be sho' but it was extreme, In Wacko's Humble Opinion.

Pacquiao signed up to fight at 150 punds. It was his choice, he didn't need to do that. The reason for the weight disparity is because Pac couldn't put on the weight, Margarito is just business as usual.
If Pac gets hurt then thems the blows. We can blame nobody except Pac and his team. But I really don't know if Margarito will be able to catch Pac enough to seriously hurt him. I hope he gives us a great fight though.

Think its becoming more and more likely today with many with the wink and nod agrrements we see...'catchweights' pay a few bucks in penalty and fight still comes off. Not being accountable to make weight,maintain it. And more so with Manny, going to the well one too many times they'll say ?

I'd be gutted but to be honest this is boxing and any fighter entering the ring risks his life.
you could say the same thing about mis matches are they fair when the new hot prospects are fed cannon fodder.
Pac has taken fully blown shots from Cotto without blinking and now Margarito has had the horse shoes teken out of hs gloves i think Pac will be fine ;)
