Audley Harrison statement
Statement from Audley Harrison | BoxRecNews
“To my family, my team and the fans who got behind me on this journey to overthrow David Haye and become heavyweight champion, I'm sorry I was unable to walk through the door and fulfil my destiny.
"I can promise I cut no corners in training and did all I could do in getting myself ready both physically and mentally for Saturday's fight. Ultimately, I didn't get going and my game plan to take over the fight in the later rounds was extinguished by the power and speed of David Haye who caught me clean around my guard.
"If I wanted an easy way out, I would have stayed down from the knockdown, but I rose and the referee’s intervention saved me from a potentially bad knockout as David is a good finisher, but I would have gladly left the ring on a stretcher as I wanted to work my way through it.
"I make no excuses and I'm not sure where I go from here in boxing, but I'll lick my wounds, take some time out with my family and see what I want to do. From Prizefighter, to the European title and overcoming a career ending injury and surgery – I am happy to have made my way back to this point. "Yes I am defeated and upset about the outcome on Saturday, but my journey in life has been one of triumph and the 'Yes I can' slogan goes onwards and upwards.
"To David Haye, I'm grateful for the opportunity to fight for the world title and I'm glad we buried the bad blood between us. I wish you well in your attempts to unify the titles and you have my support.”
Second half of the fight was his plan hahahaha, fuck off and retire you retard!!

Expect that around mid December.
I have a feeling if Del Boy gets beat by Wlad Frank Warren will try make Chisora/Harrison haha imagine that Chisora would easily win. Audleys long road back to the top!!!!!!!!!

Price needs to fight someone with a pulse so that rules Audley out. :p
Price is decent but has a china chin he needs a new promoter for me, but I reality how the fuck does Audley come back from this he has just been paid a £million quid, now if he went on and fought Fury he would probably be lucky to get 30k what is the point?
I hope he retires.
Re: Audley Harrison statement

Scrap did you come to the conclusion of this by seeing him spar or just through what you saw as an AM?
I would think most after seeing him at the Olympics that he had a bright future? What do you see that ledyou to believe exactly how you said it would. ;D
Re: Audley Harrison statement
Every time Audley speaks, a kid in England inexplicably starts to fart out of control

I'd like to see Chisora vs Rogan. They both have a real hunger to win but neither are world level fighters. I just hope Wlad gets Chisora out early and saves him a damaging beating.

I think Chisora would do Rogan in 6 to be honest, Rogan v Fury would be a good test for Fury.
Re: Audley Harrison statement
If Audley does end up getting his purse rescinded, or at least some of it with held, then he'll definitely fight on. But seriously, his game plan was to take over in the 2nd half? BS, regardless of whether that was the plan or not, surely someone should have reminded him to try and land more than one punch until he began to "take over".
Re: Audley Harrison statement
Skel, seeing Him Spar with a couple of mine, led me to that assumption ;D

Yeah I think Chisora wins. Not sure he gets Rogan out in 6 though. I see it going at least 9 or 10 if not the distance! Then again he might have lost some of his toughness after the Sexton fights.
I got thinking about this fight the other week when they were both on Ringside. As for Fury I think Rogan might take him.
Re: Audley Harrison statement
Meh, it's funny, but he still has achieved really. Made a few million and won an olympic gold. He's done alright for himself. And he's made me LOL. Everyone's a winner.
