Danny fought a smart fight. Moved well, always got off 1st and out witted the advancing Flores.
BJ Flores, the much bigger man was made to feel tentative at times such was the wit of Danny Green.
Still Danny was never the aggressor but fought a great fight. Especially for his 37 years. He outboxed the boxer.
BJ congratulated Danny, Danny returned the favour. The crowed were fantastic.
Good fight.
Where does Danny Green go from here? I think he can jump straight into another Cruiserweight championship bout (Huck, Cunningham etc)... Hopefully this time at the full 200 limit.
Congrats to Danny. Ive always liked the guy.
Good win for Green although I doubt he risks his upward trajectory with challenges like that. He'll stay in Australia and fight average guys is my bet.Quote:

The scores were a tad wide tbh. It wasn't exactly a one sided fight but Green was the only guy who looked any good.Quote:

Green fought a tactical fight, forcing Flores to come to him nullifying his huge reach advantage. Flores was tentative and paid far to much respect to Green's punching power.
I had it 117-110, Green out smarted Flores and won convincingly.
Green fights much better at these heavier weights and he also seems more relaxed. When he fought Mundine, he just had to lose too much weight and he was all tensed up.
