Shane Mosley fights for a shot at Manny Pacquiao - Los Angeles Times
His comment about Mosley pretty much assures that the fight will be made. Arum will gain easy money, and it will give the pactards more room to say he's better than floyd after he beats up a clear over-the-hill mosley "worse" than Floyd beat an over-the-hill Mosley.
Mosley does need to retire. Yet watch Roach and Pacquiao still take the fight against him

I think he would definately put up a better fight than Margarito did, but I also think Mosley should retire soon.
Aside from financial reason, I think Mosely wants to go out as a proud warrior win or lose. He aint gonna retire with that mediocre performance against Mora.

Mosley is going on the Roy Jones Jr. late career path. He needs to give up boxing and just help promote fights with Oscar.

Personally I would pick Mosley to land a few decent shots... Maybe the hardest Pac has taken in the last couple of years... And might even pick Mosley to look good for a round or two.. But unless Shane got a KO before the end of round 4, I really feel it would be another mercy job by Pac down the straight, not wanting to completely ruin Mosley's brain for his retirement...Quote:
