The hardest punch anyone has ever gotten up from

I won't set any parameters on this other than the fighter has to have gotten up under their own power before 10 seconds, the fight could have been stopped because the fighter was too hurt to continue, but he couldn't get counted out and then get up. So for example Meldrick Taylor-Julio Cesar Chavez could be included, Lennox Lewis-Oliver McCall could be included, but Lennox Lewis-Hasim Rahman could not be included.

Yeah we all know this vid for the chicken dance, but to his credit Zab got up from that punch and it was a big one too

I know it gets mentioned a lot, it's also not relevant to this thread (very loosely so I'll mention it) but the uppercut that Vitali stayed up from against Lewis is probably one of the hardest punches I can ever remember anyone taking and not getting KO'd from.

I can't find the vid, but Macrinelli recently (his last fight) somehow got back up after a hellish shot..........only to get sparked out again in seconds! :D which reminds me, that should go in the KTFO 2010 thread! The honor DEFINATELY has to go to Terry Norris in the Julian Jackson fight. He took 3 flush knockout bombs from the p4p hardest puncher ever and fell flat on his face out cold. How he ever got up from that is anyone's guess (the ref did stop it because he was out of his feet, but he still got up).

If You want to talk fights where the guy got up and it wasn't immediately stopped, Chris Byrd/Ibeabuchi comes to mind. Even though Byrd was out on his feet and got stopped immediately after, its AMAZING that he got up for this bomb.

Also the big one that comes to mind is Nigel Benn in his fight with Mcclellan. Mcclellan seemingly knocked Benn out cold and put him out of the ring. Nigel gets back up and fight for another 9 rounds and wins.

Forrest vs Mosley 1st fight; Even though Mosley got nailed by a headbutt Vernon was nailing him hard and he still got up and fought on.
Gatti vs Ward 2nd fight where Gatti nailed Ward on the ear, but he got up and fought on.

Digging deep here... Six foot six giant, Jess Willard, surviving a first round stoppage by beating it by a split second from the punitive hands of maulin' Jack Dempsey, but only to find himself brutalized and mauled into a pulp in the next round.

In recent memory I would have to say Randal Bailey vs. Juan Urango.

Bailey is arguably the hardest right hand puncher in boxing and he DECKED Urango. But Juan shook it off, somehow got up, and kicked Bailey's ass.

The fight was pretty much over with. But how the fuck Milton McCrory got up from what I considered to be the most perfect left hook ever thrown I have no idea

The first one that came to my mind was the shot Foreman hit Frazier with that had Joe leave his feet. The thing with Smokin' Joe was he would get up if you shot him, greatest heart I've ever seen in boxing.

Talk about negligence! No way that fight should have been allowed to continue. I guess the rule there must have been saved by the bell because it looked like he got helped up.

The punch that put Bradley down vs Holt was very impressive to get up from, maybe not hardest ever but Bradley went down heavily!
