Matt Skelton sent down for 5 months
Seems like he lied to the police six times about being behind the wheel when speeding tired saying he was someone else, took the case to trial and has been fucked, should never have tken it to trial and he would of probably got a slap on the wrist or some community order. Shame really probably only do a few weeks and get out on tag.

Fuck, I always thought he was one of the true gentleman of boxing. Did he have an accident? Or he was just trying to avoid a speeding fine?
Re: Matt Skelton sent down for 5 months
Just read up on it. Seems harsh but at the end of the day lying three times in that way is pretty low. Silly man.

Not to sure the details but he was basically pulled more than once for speeding in his private reg Porshe but said he was someone else both times. :p, then pleaded not guilty it basically looks like it got out of hand when he should of been advised to plead guilty and he would not be inside for crimbo the daft cunt.

Looks like Skelton was badly advised on this one. I imagine that losing your driving licence is a real pain in the arse but so what, he has to pay for taxis etc for 12 months, maybe picks up litter on a roundabout once a week for a couple of months. Once you tell the lie, it's hard to retract it, but sometimes it's better to admit you told a fib and take the punishment as it is.
He didn't, and now he gets to enjoy a few months bed and board at the taxpayers expense.
On another note, how do you think he'll fare in prison? I doubt anyone will ask him to pick up the soap!

I think it is safe to say he will be giving not receiving.

Shame. I hope the lawyer was not the one that gets celebrities off through technicalities. If it is then he must have dropped a huge mistake here.
