I dont think people are giving degale enough credit for his win on saturday
just 9 fights and 15 rounds to go up against a decent seasoned and experienced british champ infront of 11000 of his home fans and absolutely dominate him, and how accomplished he looked
Ive never seen such a good performance in a british ring so early in a fighters carear
I thought he has been getting loads of credit for his win? :confused:

Na seriously, I didn't get round to seeing this fight. Hopefully it'll pop up on Youtube sometime soon. Sounds like he did good, I'll take that as a given.

I agree, yes Paul Smith isn't brilliant but he's a tough, experienced fighter and for DeGale to go into his hometown and completely dominate him in just his 9th fight was very impressive. He looked very sharp, threw good combinations and showed great hand speed. It was a very composed, classy performance. I'm a lot more confident that he can go on to the top than I was before

Fenster, Jazmerkin, Kirkland Laing and someone else were the only four Saddo DeGale supporters when he started out. Everyone else hated him and predicted shit things for him (that's everyone else that talked about him).
I'm glad to see we have some new members for the DeGale club.
I thought he was very impressive. Apart from his speed and skill he fights like a cool and calm crafty vet (knows lots of little tricks).
Good fighter, great performance. Still can't stand the cunt though ;D
