Did Miles write Maidana's Wiki entry?
This guy has a serious axe to grind.

I love the brief description of the Khan fight
On December 11, 2010, Amir Khan won a controversial unanimous decision over Maidana with the judges scoring it 114-111, 114-111, 113-112. The fight was fiery from the offset and despite Maidana scoring several large blows in the 10th and 11th round, rocking Khan, he was unable to finish Khan off. This was mainly due to the referee Joe Cortez interfering whenever Maidana was gaining the advantage. This bought Khan valuable seconds to recover. The crowd booed Khan when the decision was announced. The fight was called one of the 'fights of the decade' by Oscar De La Hoya.
I love 'the crowd booed Khan when the decision was announced'. The only time they booed was when Maidana was interviewed.
Also on an semi related note, did anyone else think the post fight interviews were the worst ever on HBO? Larry asked a single question to Amir and two to Maidana and the whole thing was over inside a minute. It was like they had two minutes to evacuate the building or something. Even Merchant's post fight wrap up lasted about 15 seconds and concentrated only the upcoming Alexander Bradley fight and the Lombardi documentary. Pathetic.
Re: Did Miles write Maidana's Wiki entry?
haha that is a pretty fun description and reeks of hate. Not a big fan of khan but hard to not give him props after saturday and don't see why he's still taking so much flak. He gave the people the fight they wanted to see and got thru it with a W, maybe not with flying colors but this was supposed to be his sternest test after all. As for the post fight interviews(if you can call them that), they were absolute garbage.

That was fck'd up how Larry ask Amir one question and turned his back on him. That piss'd me off and then I realize these mothrfxckers are rushing cause their time is up. I looked at my channel guide and it is unusual but HBO rush them to get off the channel ;D

haha that's great. It's like a mod must have toned down the initial angry posting. Or maybe the guy didn't want to sound like a hater and so revised it a little. I'm even more convinced it's Miles now ;D
Re: Did Miles write Maidana's Wiki entry?
No, it wasn't me, but I fully agree with what was originally posted. It was extremely biased though and totally disregarded the first half of the fight which was mainly Khan. However, it is a fair description of the final 3 rounds and in the end I believe it was a fairly close fight and that the point deduction did have an impact.
