Who's worth following on Twitter?

I signed up to Twitter probably a year ago now and haaen't logged in since. I'm pretty into Facebook but the whole Twitter thing is passing me by. I'm just concerned that I'll wake up one day and have no idea what anyone under the age of 30 is talking about and suddenly feel old! ;)

Anyways, I just logged back in and started 'following' people. As I haven't a clue who is actually on Twitter I searched all the usual sections, Entertainment, Sports etc. The only problem is it's obviously very US orientated with shit loads of Z List US celebs and American Footballers that I've never heard of on there...

So who's worth following? I'm guessig Amir Khan is worth following but what other boxers are on there? I'm not interested in following any 'normal' people, that's what Facebook is for. Just famous people to keep me amused... ;D

Any suggestions?

I was following Malignaggi on Twitter. haha super annoying. Twitter is kind of pointless for individuals IMO. It's like having a simultaneous play by play of hundreds of peoples lives at the same time.

On the other hand I have a few American soccer sources that don't post often, but post when something significant happens so I get instant gratification of news. For example the MLS had a re-entry draft and to follow it live the ONLY two places you could hear it were either in the boardroom where the calls were happening or on Twitter.

Johnson has a short memory if he was half as good as Merson he would be ok, Merson said a few things basically he is shit which Is a bit harsh but he has been, he came back with something along the lines, thanks for that next times I want advice from an alcoholic drug addict I will let you no.

Then he said the only reason he works on Soccer Saturday is because he gambled all his money away.

I think Johnson should worry about his form, shows he is a bit insecure coming back with that, I think Kelly looked good on sunday for you lot.

The Tyson Fury account made me laugh a while back when he tweeted Andre Dirrell asking for Dr Shaw-Hi's number. Shame its a fake, but it still made me laugh
