Anybody ever read Time Magazine?
I've just had it offered to me for £20 for a year, 50 issues in all plus a (shit looking) free watch.
Apparently there are 54 issues a year, which for £20 seems insanely cheap.
I just went on to their website too and the normal deal is almost as good, a years subscription right now costs only £24.99 54 issues in total including their special Time person of the year and Time 100 issues.
How do they actually make on money on this deal? It would cost £25 a year just to post that many issues, essentially it's a free magazine and you are just paying postage it seems?
Ive' never actually read it though, is it any good?
I love The Week and the Telegraph, and Time would probably be a great way to round out the news with a hopefully more international and American take than I get from my current national reads.
Interested to hear if any of you guys have read it.

IMO it tends to lean to the right on political issues and it can be a very American-centric magazine, but it also has many good articles on a variety of subjects. It's like another Newsweek.

I just read a couple reviews on the net and they both said it was left leaning which put me off as I just thought of Miles and the Guardian, but maybe it's not so bad.
I'm right leaning, almost Fox level so, and I want it to be American centric as obviously the Telegraph being a national UK paper and The Week being a British news roundup already keep me well covered on national news.
I like to know what's going in America and the rest of the world, or at least those parts that America cares about so hopefully the Middle East and the growing threats from North Korea and China.
Think I'm going to sign up. I mean it works out at 50 pence an issue delivered to your door, that's cheaper than a newspaper!

I don't like it at all. I think of it as CNN in print form. They had an article about English teachers in Korea the other week and actually included false information as well as misquoting one of the teachers. If that is the best they can do, then they are somehwat lacking in terms of professionalism and integrity.

I often wondered if those translations on Eurotrash were literal or not :p
I bought Time only one. Simply because it had that Iconic artwork of Obama on it
