How do you think Haye would do v Mason?

I think Gary Mason is the tougher of the two, so i'd pick him. But David Haye is more skillful, its a toss up.
Re: Highlights of Gary Mason v Lennox Lewis
Haye is world champ, Mason never was. ;) Which means abosultely nothing. Close tough fight, haye has speed but Mason had the punch. Pick em type of fight. Which means Haye is about European level in those days.

Thats the difference in quality between the bigger men now and then.
Back then, only the very best would think about moving up. Now any fucker is doing it;D

Exactly back in Gary Mason's era you had.
Razor Ruddock
Mike Tyson
Riddick Bowe
Evander Holyfield
George Foreman
Ray Mercer
Tommy Morrison
Michael Moorer
Lennox Lewis
ETC.
And barring Tommy Morrison, i don't think David Haye would beat any of those fighters.

cheers skel
tried to watch the fight on youtube the other night, they had it but the audio was all out of sync
allegedly lennox lewis never had a decent jab until manny steward came along :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Re: Highlights of Gary Mason v Lennox Lewis
He took a lot there and a lesser heavy would've crumbled at his last rally there

Lewis was with Davenport then and was doing well. Manny certainly improved Lennox but it was from Pepe who ruined the good work Davenport did with Lewis.

spot on my friend, infact you could add quite a few more to that list. Briggs, Golata that fought Bowe, even Botha and the atomic bull Oli mccall would stand a chance vs haye
Re: Highlights of Gary Mason v Lennox Lewis
Briggs and Haye are about as even as it gets.
How sad :(

hahahaha aint it just hahaha.......however i think that around the time briggs fought lewis he would have ko'd haye, he hurt lewis and took plenty of clean shots on way to being starched in the 5th
