Is David Haye a compulsive liar?
Haye the compulsive liar?
Seems to be popping up on other sites so though I'd share it here...interesting points he makes.
Re: Is David Haye a compulsive liar?
Well what has he lied about now?
He lied about his back when he pulled out in June 09, I think anyone would in that situation with the legal problems it would of caused, I don't think anyone would fight the biggest fight of your life for free with future earnings also on the line.
He has said he accepted 50/50 bowed to Klits demands and said 2nd July lets do it, Wlad comes back and says he can't rely on Haye and wait that long for the fight he needs a warm up, if the July fight didnt happen he would be out of the ring for over a year.
But then Wlad makes the fight 8/9 weeks before the supposed Haye fight why?? Like I have posted before last time Wlad fought two fights in such a small space of time was 11 years ago so you tellng me he will now do this in the biggest fight of his life?
Either fight Del Boy in March or fuck him off, there both a pair of clowns to be honest.
But if you watched Ringside Booth ( looks a shifty cunt ) made Wlads manager look like a clown and he came off looking much worst than Haye especially when Booth suggested open public negotiations.
Wlad should of agreed to fight Haye on the 2nd July and if it went pair shape then say fuck you never again.
Re: Is David Haye a compulsive liar?
I am assuming you are the author. ;)
PS - going by the evidence; yes he is.

Re: Is David Haye a compulsive liar?
I think he is dishonest and clearly treats the sport as a business only. Going on recent form history will not treat Haye kindly and he shows little sign of trying to prove himself the best. The Klits have it all wrapped up. Haye will not only go down as a liar, but also a bit of a joke as far as HW is concerned.
So Chagaev and then retirement, eh Haye? Lame.
Re: Is David Haye a compulsive liar?
He's not a fucking compulsive liar, Jesus Christ...
He's a shameless and extremely effective self-promoter.
Re: Is David Haye a compulsive liar?

An effective self promoter doesn't say an opponent isn't worth fighting but will fight him anyway for the fans.

He's made himself tens of millions of dollars by fighting mediocre opposition and has become one of the most popular, infamous, and discussed fighters in the world in the process. I'd say he's an exceptional promoter.

Shows the lack of value in the dollar if he's made "tens of millions" (though I would love someone to do the maths, work out the actual cut of Sky etcs that he gets), popular? He seems to be like marmite in that respect. Discussed doesn't always mean a good thing..
Re: Is David Haye a compulsive liar?
As much as I dislike David Haye; all publicity is good publicity.
He is very savvy when it comes to self promotion.
The boxing world has been talking about him and Wlad for over two years now - and it was all down to Haye's mouth.

I have no idea what you're trying to say in the first part of your post, other than disputing the amount of money he's made.
As for the second part, in boxing being popular is always a good thing. In a sense, the whole sport is one giant and corrupt popularity contest.

Exactly. I don't like him either and his heavyweight accomplishments are certainly suspect, but he's been a brilliant business man.

Is he actually popular was the second part. He seems to have as many people calling him a duck, a chicken and disliking him as he does fans.
