he's had unsuccessful surgury on his left eye and can no longer see out of it. Thinks Robert Helenius tainted his gloves in their fight which he claims caused the problem. :-\

Well I hate it that Lamon couldn't get his eye fixed and the stuff with Helenius seems sketchy. Lamon was a good hard nosed fighter and gave his all in the ring and was in some classic fights. The Lyakhovich fight was a great one.
Probably the most exciting Heavyweight fight i've seen live. Was brilliant.Quote:

Hope he made some decent money and was smart with it, hasn't been the same for a few years now. Also have to agree with the other brewster and lyakovich was awesome.
