Howard Rainey wants to write a book
As the title says....but without the actual writing it bit !!! lol
I dont think this is really the right place to put this but I want to know if anyone on here knows how to find a publisher and a ghost writer.
H is going to tell his story with a typical Howie twist so it needs to be A) A publisher that is interested in his world past and present. B) A ghost writer that can keep up with him !! ha
I have never had to do anything like this or had to find anyone like this, so I thought I would throw it out to the boards in the hope that someone would know something to help us get started.
Cheers Guys x

first thought- are there any boxing books that Mr H likes - that way you know which publisher/ghost to approach :)

Clever girl!
Why do you need to know the ghost writer?
Re: Howard Rainey wants to write a book
I have my moments
I don't need to know ;)
But I would need to trust the person wouldn't turn my carefully chosen words in to that of a rambling idiot.

Best thing is to get a little voice activated recorder put all your memories onto over the next six months or so. Just yak away when stories come to you. That way its eventually all down and you or others can always sort it out from there.

great idea,
that way, once things are sorted out, an audio book can be released as well.. . Or maybe the stories/content can be retold by a narrator.
... also didnt the author, David Matthews actually work with Howard Rainey, and write a book about his journey to becoming a pro fighter?
If Howard Rainey still has contact with David, maybe consulting with him might be a good idea as he would have more knowledge about the process and all, seeing that he is an author.

Great idea- I will buy it.
Can't offer too much advice, but like to wish him the very best of luck with it
