I'd heard he sounded out Manfredo but after fighting last Friday he doesn't feel his body will recover in time to begin training and get ready. I heard about McEwan. Good idea, but I'd heard they were going to put him on the Khan undercard and as he' one of the few British boxers Golden Boy have, chances are they'll save him for that rather than risk it otherwise who else will be on the Khan undercard? Personally I'd like to see Lee-McEwan, but I don't see it happening just yet.
As HBO will be lowballing offers because originally they weren't up for showing a co-feature till DiBella talked them around, don't expect a big name opponent. The Vera rematch is basically the first fight that came to my mind but he's fighting Mora.
My money is on Matt Vanda.
Darren Barker maybe?
There is a big amateur history there.
I'd favor Lee over McEwan.
I've read Ishe Smith wants the fight if they can't secure McEwan. That'd be a good one. Danny Jacobs or Daniel Geale wouldn't be bad either.
Will Andy's fight even be televised since Duddy dropped out? I guess it depends on who the opponent is.

I think a fight vs Jacobs would actually be a good fight, who knows maybe Danny was damaged by that KO. I wouldn't mind seeing Lee fight Ishe as the guy is durable but nothing special. I would have liked to see Lee-Manfredo though.....only if Lee whips up on Jr.

Looks like McEwan Vs Lee, its gonna look like twins in the ring, only different color hair. They both look and box kind of similar. McEwan may be a little more durable , while Lee has the better boxing pedigree. Should be a good evenly matched fight. I think Lee will probably pull off a close decision.
Lee should take a stay busy fight and wait on Chavez Jr. That way Chavez can take his heart the way he took Duddy's. And rid us of these Irish frauds once and for all
