Could Rey Bautista ever get a shot at a title again?
Its been three and half years since that loss to Daniel Ponce de Leon and hes now 24 years old. I remeber the expectations of the lad were massive and he was very young getting in with a guy of such strength of DPDL. Hes fighting again this weekend Boxing - Baustista-Barrera face off. Does anybody think he will fight in a big state side fight this year and push on for a title? Or will the two losses on his record and the countries high expectations of the fighter be too much for him?

He could. But with the current people around him, I doubt he'll ever be a world champ. He needs a good trainer. Hes gotta do somethin about that glass chin of his. :)

Bautista should never had "boom boom" as a nickname, cause no way he can live up to it, the guy to me is a joke and has no chance against anyone in the top 5, Vazquez Jr, Nishioka, etc all stop him worse than De Leon, and well Gamboa, Lopez, even Marquez seriously hurt him
