I think possibly the RJJ who beat ruiz would beat every heavyweight out there today except maybe vitali?
RJJ did beat a terrible heavyweight champ in ruiz- one of the worst of all time but then so did haye in his titlefight vs valuev.
The only reason RJJ dropped backdown in weight after winning title was cos there was no way he would of stepped in the ring with lennox lewis so it was pointless him staying at that weight.
RJJ makes him look stupid and wins every round imo

To be fair a lot of people may say the same thing about RJJ... depending on how shite you think haye's chin is or not.
Haye is fast for a bigger guy... but for once I am in total agreement with VD (and on the subject of David Haye no less) Haye is fast... but I don't think I've seen anybody who wasn't as skinny as piss/punched with no pop punch as fast as RJJ in his prime.
Never seen anybody punch quite as fast with as much sting on their shots... not above middleweight anyways.
Haye is also fairly mobile... for a bigger guy, but again in terms of foot speed he isn't keeping up with Roy either.
