Hopkins-Pascal 2 on HBO in May/Dawson on Undercard
looks like rematch is on. Dawson might get a fight on the undercard and a chance to fight the winner.
Pascal-Hopkins rematch imminent? | RingTV
Re: Hopkins-Pascal 2 on HBO in May/Dawson on Undercard
Yep, it'll be really interesting to see if Dawson will be the co-main event of their rematch. I like Schaefer's idea that "It will almost be like a little light heavyweight tournament". Andrade and Diaconu isn't too great for opponent thought.

I will never again bet against B-Hop. But his age is catching up with him. I wouldn't be suprise if he lose this one.
Who will Chad fight? Whomever it is, will get their @$$ handed to them.
Oh BTW,
If Chad destroy whomever he fights, he better hope his contract to fight the winner is written in stone, signed, seal, and delivery to his lawyer NOW. Hopkins nor Pascal want a motivate Dawson.

I am pretty sure it,s the case, there was quite a controversy as PAscal signed a revenge clause with Dawson and the Dawson clan was adamant that Pascal had to fight Chad first. However, the WBC did shuffle the deck when they declared that if he wasn't fighting Dawson, Pascal would be stripped. As the Dawson wanted to fight for the belt in the shortest line possible, we can imagine that they did accept to wait "a bit" in exchange of a guarantee for a fight, which I believe has been agreed before the fight. Diaconu vs Dawson is interesting (if the Dawson clan choses that alley) both men lost against Pascal, if Dawson wins (which I believe he should), it could pump a bit more the revenge with PAscal. On the other hand, if Diaconu wins, it could be his ladder to a championship in a relatively close fututre. The Andrade avenue IMO is not as interesting but I would really like to know how does the mexican warrior has remaining in his tank after the Bute's slaughter.

I wouldn't hold your breath, the first fight was on Primetime...although Dan Rafael said on twitter that Showtime have pencilled it in for the same date as Froch-Johnson, so if that's the case and Sky are picking up Froch they may show it

Then that is worth subscribing back to them for that month because I will for the Pac v Shane fight.
Re: Hopkins-Pascal 2 on HBO in May/Dawson on Undercard
May 21st is the working date. Looks like the fight will be back in Canada as well but look for at least 2 of the 4 ref/judges to be neutral. Word is the winner of the fight is 100% locked into a fight with Dawson next. Looks like Cloud will be on the outside looking in for another year.

Pac vs Mosley is on PPV, why subscribe because you will have to get the PPV anyways. Unless things work much differently over in the UK.

Re: Hopkins-Pascal 2 on HBO in May/Dawson on Undercard
surely SURELY 2011 has to be the year where mother time catches up with hopkins
i know there have been a few mid 40 fighters competing at the top level over the years but nobody has managed to mantain the levels of performance hopkins has
such a shame the guy chooses to run his mouth over the most insane things as he is actually a rather likeable fighter that many a boxing fan has had years of entertainment from
Re: Hopkins-Pascal 2 on HBO in May/Dawson on Undercard
I've read on Rds.ca that Golden Boy has absolutely no problem with the Province of Quebec but that they would request that there is not one canadian judge on the pannel and only some neutrals, which I see as a reasonable request even though one canadian judge wouldn't be exaggerated.

Wasn't that the case last time? There was only one Canadian judge.
