Re: James Kirkland possibly on the Maidana/Morales Undercard
I think that this is the third time his 'comeback' has been pencilled in on a card.
Not holding much hope.

He was in the half-way house the first time when he had to go back to jail. He's completely out of the half-way house now.

I'd bet money that he pulls out. Give himself a bit more time to get back into prime shape.

James Kirkland was on the right road. I hope he gets back on track. His opponent will have to be hand pick. He been gone way to long to get in with a top contender at this point. But his willingness to take one to give one will always be exciting.

First tuneup fight, not really good work But it shows Kirkland still a beast.

Super middleweight:-\ Against a top tier fighter I dont think his power is going to shine like he did as a junior middle. I always thought Kirkland as a BIG junior middleweight anyways.
Re: James Kirkland possibly on the Maidana/Morales Undercard
Anyone know his weight lastnight? Looked like "Thing" in that clip, just a square block. Should be explosive while it lasts
Re: James Kirkland possibly on the Maidana/Morales Undercard
IMO any decent fighter with a good straight right hand busts Kirkland up, that's why i'd pick Angulo and Cintron over him, he's always been wide open for the shot as Julio showed in their fight, honestly was never that big on Kirkland and don't think he'd beat the best at 154, or 160, much less at 168 where i think guys like Bute, Froch, Kessler, and Andrade will stop him and guys like Ward will just outbox him
