Don't worry buddy he's just messing with ya a little bit.... About 50% of posters here jump at any opportunity to have a bit of fun with someone... It's all in good humor though and you'll soon grow to enjoy it...
Anyway, I havn't played the latest fight night yet, but I know what you mean about the fighting sort of going in the wrong direction...
I was really hoping as each new edition came out, they would focus more on the mobility of the fighters so distance really played a part, and you could move in an out a lot more, and just generally get more of a feel you are in a dynamic fight... But get inside landing range, and each edition has just felt more and more like button mashing....
I know they've aimed to eliminate that and just button mashing won't win you fights... But it feels like they have been constantly working on graphics and look of the characters and their body physics,,, which makes the game have a much more fun feel to it than the earlier games... But I feel just the enjoyment and envolvement you have in the fights has been dropping with every new FN they have brought out..
I want way more focus on the characters agility for future games.. They've got the punches down now... That is the next step they need to focus on..
I think this thread will end up getting moved to the FN game section, in case you notice it's gone missing...

I am a prick, it's true.
Fact is that you learn to negate it. People tend to rush across the ring Vinny Paz style and burry hooks into your gut. Two things happen. 1) you get hit and lose stamina 2) you fire back to get them off of you and lose stamina from punching and also not covering your midsection so it's a two pronged negative.
One thing you'll learn quick is to protect your gut and use head movement to counter most of their stuff upstairs.
If you can get your head movement down and force counters while protecting your midsection you'll find thosebullies much easier to handle.
