Sergio Martinez for me easily because it would be at catchweight, and Antonio Margarito hasn't been very successful moving up above Welterweight. Plus Sergio Martinez seems to be alot more powerful than when he fought Antonio Margarito back in 1999.
It would be nice to see Sergio Martinez revenge his only true loss, but Antonio Margarito would have to beat Miguel Cotto first to make this intriguing.
Even with the loaded gloves margacheat wouldn't win.
Martinez wins by stoppage in the late rounds.

The odds on that fight will be like 40 - 1 for Martinez. Margarito has no chance of beating Martinez. But will be interesting if Margarito can somehow defeat Cotto, if he would want that fight.

As people have mentioned, if Margarito beats Cotto, I feel like this is a logical fight as long as Margarito is comfortable moving up in weight or the fight is at a catchweight for no belt. It's a big money fight for Martinez and Margarito. I wouldn't mind seeing Margarito be beat down either. Martinez's response to this was that he wasn't sure it is a good fight because he would seriously injure Margarito. Sergio doesn't usually talk trash so that was funny.
thing is it's true, seeing the power he's been showing in his last couple of fights, and how easy Margarito is to hit, i wouldn't be shocked to see Sergio blast him out with a single shot like he did Williams, even possibly causing serious damage on that already tender orbital lobe, IMO Cotto is gonna already damage that eye and Martinez would do that but 10 times worseQuote:
