Re: Anyone wanna talk about the british heavyweight scene?
yep even though the world heavyweight scene is complete shite at the moment I don't think any of our guys will be able to make their mark on it.
Howvere I would defo tune into a Chisora v Fury fight cos that would provide a bit of excitement.
Re: Anyone wanna talk about the british heavyweight scene?
I'd get excited if the promoters madea tournament and they were all forced to face off.
The likes of Dallas should be thinking of facing the likes of Skelton now not unknown europeans
Re: Anyone wanna talk about the british heavyweight scene?
Please can Eric, Otley and Ross all fuck off with their dull jogging spam! ;D
Back on topic, yes I am enjoying the British heavyweight scene at the moment
Re: Anyone wanna talk about the british heavyweight scene?
Aside from Haye, I think CHisora is the most interesting British HW at the moment. Then again, I can only name about 5 of them, so what do I know...
Fury is ass, that much I'm sure of.

I think Price could make a mark on it in a few years time. As long as he's handled right and given time to learn his trade that is. He's a big guy with decent fundamentals and he has a shit load of time really. He's only 27 and IMO he would already murder the rest of the British guys like Chisora, Fury and Mcdermott. I'd love to see him in with Sexton too.
As for the Fury and Chisora fight, yes it should be a good one and I'm struggling to pick a winner. Depends if Fury can get himself into some sort of shape I suppose.
Then there is Tom Dallas, he looks OK. Can't really make my mind up as far as where he is going with his career. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight the winner of Fury and Chisora to be honest!
Finally Larry Olubamiwo, he's not a boxer. He's a body builder. I couldn't believe the bookies had him favourite against John McDermott. I told my girlfriend before the fight started that he would get thrashed and she was saying "what off that fat bastard" so I told her Big John does have some boxing skill he just doesn't take his training serious enough where as Larry is a big fucker because he's a body builder and a boxer will always beat a body builder in a boxing ring!

Not really. ;)
Re: Anyone wanna talk about the british heavyweight scene?
with the little i know i'd say skelton still has a bit left in the tank, and McDermott seems most exciting at this point. david haye is a semi-joke and will most likely get swiped by the big tall lumbering bore, K. david haye?
Re: Anyone wanna talk about the british heavyweight scene?
Tyson Fury cannot beat Chisroe who is sparring with Mcdermott who will be fighting Price.
Re: Anyone wanna talk about the british heavyweight scene?
by the overwhelming number of posts I'm guessing not too many wann talk about it or are that interested in it.
