Watched both JMM/Pac fights today

Felt like giving myself a treat being the first day back at work. (USB hard drive and a monitor facing away from people is a godsend).

First fight had it 115-114 Pacquiao and the second fight, the same as one of the judges, 114-113.

You just can't keep that crazy Mexican down! ;D

Both incredible fights and two reasons why Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao III NEEDS to happen this year. Will go down as one of the all time great trilogies.

Do your thing Bob Arum and get the fight the people want (Floyd aside) for once...

I watched both fights twice and had the first 114-111 Pacman , and second, 114-113 Pacman . The KD's made the difference

I had JMM winning both fights by 1 point.

I had the first fight for Manny and the second for JMM each by a point. when fights are that close I think it is crazy to complain about the decision for a couple of reasons. First watching a fight on TV is VERY different from being ringside in terms of sound, angle of viewing and fighter reactions. Second, in fights like those several individual rounds are so close there just isn't a right answer. I think fights like those two are so close they are effectively draws and we've all got to live with the judges subjective view.

This thread always comes up.

Everytime I watch the first fight, I have a different winner. More often than not, I have Marquez winning that one. The second fight I always have Pacquiao winning by a point. Those fights were great!

Yeah both fights were close. I had Pac winning the 1st fight and losing the 2nd fight forgot what my scorecards were but that's how I had it.

But you always have people complaining that JMM was robbed in a blowout of Pac or something. I would have no problems at all if JMM was given both fights because they were close. But close fights are never robberies.

Put the third fight in a cage......15 rounds and hands wrapped in tape with glue dipped in glass.

1st fight 113-112 pacquiao
2nd fight 114-113 pacquiao

Don't want to see the trilogy, NOPE, NOPE NOPE.

I had Marquez winning the second fight (I think by something like 115-112), but I think Pacquiao blows him out if the third fight happens. Marquez is aging fast and Pacquiao just keeps getting better.

Agreed, I think this would be a bigger mis match than Pac v Shane.

Gave both fights to Marquez. Can't believe more fuss hasn't been made about that controversial rematch. Pacquiao should've been crucified for avoiding it. True all-time greats leave no doubt.
