Lacy better send this cunt back to MMA in the first round. Do exactly what Randy did to Toney.
You have to give Diaz a decent chance. Lacy's picture is in the dictionary under shot.
Why would I say that?
When you lose to Dhafir Smith (23-19-7).
Is losing to a journeyman bad? Hell yes.
Especially when the scorecards are 118-110, 117-111, and 116-112 (and you are fighting in Florida right where you live).
When you are the "name" fighter, the "hometown" fighter, and you lose at home to a journeyman, 10 rounds to 2, 9 rounds to 3, and 8 rounds to 4 on the 3 scorecards, then you are shot all to hell.

Lacy has been shot ever scince Calzaghe did a demolition job on him. I've met the guy though and he is a nice fella.
Really you have to fancy the boxer to win this.

Id say Lacy hits harder than Liddel fairly easily. Id also not mind betting that his punches would hurt more than that big titted fat gay Lesnar. If you were a boxer and got caught by Lesnar in a boxing match you should be ashamed of yourself.;DQuote:

lol, noone near whatever weight WW is in mma hits NEAR as hard as lacy, its not even close, most mma guys barely knows how to throw punches, and i meant P4P (obviously) but are u seriously trying to tell me that paul daley has ANYTHING on lacy when it comes to just raw punching power?
daley wears mma gloves and wings wild ugly poorly thrown hooks, lacy at one point was a very dangerous puncher who know how to throw a left hook correctly, he may only have 1 round worth of trying left in him but that 1 round is WAY more than anything daley can do
on top of that velasquez doesnt even hit that hard, nogueira was a complete zombie by the time he fought velasquez and carwin doesnt even know how to throw a punch
if u wanna make a pointless argument at least mention a HW that can somewhat box, like if u said overeem or kharitanov but u seriously used carwin?

I'm so glad this fight is confirmed. Diaz is going to finally get whats coming to him.
Lacy isn't what he once was, but he's still got plenty left to destroy someone who has had ONE 4 round boxing match, 5 years ago. I've watched nearly all of Diaz's fights for the past 5 years, and what works for him in MMA will not work against a real boxer who knows how to cut the ring off, and Diaz's slaps, I mean punches, will have no effect on Jeff Lacy.
Diaz may be able to run for a while in there, but if this is a 10 round fight as it should be, then it won't take long for Lacy to catch him, hurt him, and dispose of him.
This fight is what worries me as well. Losing to a journeymen by a WIDE margin is a terrible sign. However, I can only imagine that Lacy was not up for the fight and had a very off night in addition to him being a shell of his former self, as we have witnessed for a while now.Quote:
