Marquez accepts $5 Million offer is GBP Crazy?

GBP is speculated to be trying to match Ortiz with Marquez at 144. That would mean the fight would have to generate at least $12 Million for them to even break even. Are they crazy thinking they could match the offer? The Berto / Ortiz gate reached over 6,000 and Marquez didn't even crack 5,000 at the gate. Do they think HBO will shell out a $10 Million purse? Free viewership is not the same as PPV.

So does anyone think GBP will loose money promoting this fight? or we'll see Pacquiao vs Marquez III sometime in November.

Good for Arum. Not waiting for the other guy to get out of jail before signing for his next fight.

It's no way GBP can match that offer. DLH, needs to support his guy and sign him after the fight, in hopes he pull off the upset.
