re-watching the Pac v Mosley fight got me thinking has Mosley ever out boxed anyone. The commentators on sky sports were acting like mosley's a genius boxer but all I saw was Mosley's experience helping him survive.
So for those of you more knowledgeable than me and have seen more of Mosley's career, has he ever out boxed anyone? Using his jab, moving etc.
I don't recall any fight Mosley simply outbox an opponent.Quote:

The Cotto fight, I believe, I had Shane winning(I watch that fight again).
IMO, Mayorga was winning that fight. At the least, could have got a draw.
WE know what happen with Winky and Forrest.

What about the Collazo fight, it wasnt a slugfest so I spose you could say he outboxed Collazo to a certain extent.
Shane was almost always the superior athlete in the ring and won with that.
Mosley had to outbox oscar in the first fight, because he saw he couldn't kayo him. He had to start circling and using his jab. The only fight where he really "turned" Boxer. Without a doubt the best version of Shane IMO.
I think a lot of his boxing skills were overlooked because he kayoed a lot of opponent while at LW.
At lightweight Shane out boxed a lot of fighters and he certainly out boxed ODH in the first fight but he did become more of a box fighter at the higher weights.
