Glad Ringside is back on sky but miss The Boxing hour.It was raw and off the cuff rather than Ringside which at times seems quite scripted.
Love both shows but I think the Boxing Hour was better for hard core boxing fans.

like the way sky are getting back in the big time mix again, adam smith is a genuine fan. however there was something raw about bunces boxing hour. not afraid to mention rival channels either I remember. id say bunces boxing hour. very unique
I feel Ringside has gone a bit shirt and collar for my liking. Buncy was funny though.
The best ringside's have been the one's where Wlad has been a guest.
Apart from those two episodes, I don't like the way Johnny Nelson sticks his tongue up every guest's arse. It was funny when George Groves went on there and put him in his place, though. ;D
Ringside feels too sanitized & I always admired how on Setanta they wouldn't balk at mentioning fights being shown on Sky. Contrast with how Sky have appeared to try & airbrush Amir Khan out of the boxing landscape recently ;D
I like boxing hour, bunce is very good, he gets deep with the fighters mind.
Ringside is good but agree it seems abit scripted.
Johnny Nelson is terrible in this role. He is totally cringeworthy. He asks questions, that are provided for him, but doesn't know how to improvise when the question/answers merge together.
Like Jaz said, the Bunce show pissed all over Ringside purely because Sky still virtually ignore any fight that doesn't take place on their platform (plus Bunce is far better at interviewing). A few weeks ago Carl Froch turns up on Ringside, which was strange considering Sky had nothing to do with him, then surprise suprise, a few weeks later FRoch has left Fat Mick and is now live on Sky.
However, it's certainly better to have the programme than not ;)
i have to say i like ringside
the boxing hour was good, but some of it was well shit, people on the phone you couldnt hear and guests who couldnt speak
and buncey big upped everyone too
ringside has some good features on and its not just 3 dudes sat at a table
Supprised a tv network has not picked up the Bunce show seems its so popular and also compaired to ringside cheap to make.(so I hear)
Whilst i think Bunce is way over the top, I prefer his show.
I am also slowly not liking Teddy Atlas, he was being a prick to B Hop. FFS show some respect.
Ringside hands down. They go away and get interviews in person with people like Evander Holyfield, Roy Jones and Bernard hopkins etc. Then they show quite a lot of action that was not televised over here.
The way they set up Bernd Boente and Adam Booth was brilliant. It showed that it wasn't just Haye that had caused the discussions to fall apart in Haye - Klit negotiations and I believe in the long run that episode helped finally get the fight on track.
Didn't mind Bunces Boxing Hour but it was very budgeted and it showed, they used to have guests on regular but it didn't seem to get off the domestic scene. I prefer the way that Ringside leave the studio and visit people, the episode where Smith and Nelson went to visit Paul Ingle, Michael Watson and Spencer Oliver to discuss their careers, injuries and the dangers of boxing was brilliant, for all the people who have tried to have boxing banned it kind of showed that these guys have suffered serious injuries doing the game they love and they would do it again if they had their time again.
Much prefer Ringside.
The problem with Bunce's boxing hour, was that it had Steve Bunce on it, for a whole hour :-\
