I'm feeling abit Sorry For Audley Harrison
He got mushed up in 3 rounds to Haye, lost to a cab driver, Knocked out by a SproUtt and lost a unanimous decision to a Guinn.
But now Audley has reached the bottom of the barrell and be a small stepping stone for the next fringe contender Mike Perez. This will look great on Audleys record when he gets knocked out with in 3 rounds and then he can tell his Grand kids he got stopped by a Rebel from Cuba.
Please please please can the boxing commission stop Harrison from another on slaught.....Audrey needs to be saved from himself...the guy is dillusional...please do not let him back in the ring....for the sake of boxing get this man a straight jacket and put him in a mental hospital
Job Biscuit (Poor poor Audley....he needs his license taken away)!!!
eh eh!!!
Re: I'm feeling abit Sorry For Audley Harrison
He's doing it to save Stonebridge Adventure Playground. He HAS to continue.

As with Holyfield, people calling for these fighters retirement. What about all the journeymen that get knocked out and lose every week?
Just because one man has less ambition than another, hes still taking the same punches.

Difference being they don't go around telling everyone that'll listen that it is their destiny to be a world champion - after every beating they suffer.

I never rated Harrison as a fighter (even when he was an amateur). He managed to talk up the hype and get enough suckers to belive him, and his career and earnings went much higher than they ever should have done.
Doesn't mean I should hate him though ...... anybody who has the guts to get into the ring deserves some credit, especially when set against namby pamby overpaid undertalented footballers and the like.

That is where it all went wrong for him; he did not have to do much. He carefully selected his opponents to get by with the contract, bored the British public to tears, did not learn and develop and put the BBC off boxing forever. He really does have a case to answer for the demise of boxing on terrestrial TV. Unfortunately he did not kill off PPV with his non-performance against Haye.

Yes it is Tyson, in Japan during the build up to Tubbs. The sparring partner is Oliver McCall.
Re: I'm feeling abit Sorry For Audley Harrison
In fairness he's only lost two of his last six fights, so I think calling for his licence to be revoked is a little much. Granted he didn't put up any fight against Haye, but he has the same right as anyone to dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe....which in this case is going to be Mike Perez? If he starts getting battered in every fight, even against mediocre guys, then maybe then try and talk him into retirement, but its his choice, and if there are muppets out there who'll pay to see him then its up to him.
Re: I'm feeling abit Sorry For Audley Harrison
Some poster mentioned how he was a millionaire at 0-0..lol well it's true and I too dont feel sorry for him. He strikes me as a nice bloke though so I hope he bounces back somehow.
Personally, Id love to see him fight Amir Mansour..

Brits might not be aware of Mansour, but if Harrison was to fight him I personally guarantee Audley would finally have an opponent that would ensure the British public gets behind him ;D

LOL probably the best thing anyone could have said about Audley's career.
