I had never heard of the London Prize Ring Rules. I was reading where bare knuckle bouts in the 18th and 19 centuries took place under the London PrizeRing rules. The rules said that:
1. A round ended only when a boxer went down.
2. The fallen fighter then had 30 seconds to 'come up to scratch' for the next round.
3. Limited wrestling was allowed.
Just thought I would pass this on as a part of boxing history.
