so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
Haye shadow boxed and worked the pads in a southpaw stance today during the open media workout ... is he going to try and do this in the fight or is he just giving Wlad and Manny Steward something new to think about before saturday night
Re: so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
Do you really think they would be stupid enough (tough question actually) to give their gameplan away in an open media workout? ;D Haye's best chance is to land a 'Hayemaker' on his chin - being southpaw is going to make that extremely difficult.
Re: so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
It would be a good idea to switch southpaw at times (not fight like that all the time). It may give him a chance to land the overhand left while slipping outside his jab. He switched before in his fights so a southpaw Haye is not a surprise.

well im guessing it might be a bit late for steward and wlad to work on that too much now ... maybe it was just a little something extra for them to think about and keep the unpredictability going
Re: so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
99.999999% of the time switching is an awful, awful idea. This is simply fight hype.
Re: so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
Just more smoke signals. He had groves doing front rolls in his media workout
Re: so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
All part of the Booth masterplan. Just adds a little more doubt in Wlads head.
BTW, I hope he stays orthodox, coz being in the ring with Wlad, is the wrong time to try new things.
Re: so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
apparently Haye himself said "no tricks - I ain't switching"
They oughtta outlaw southpaw.
Fact

He should get an identical twin... My brother is a southpaw and people never used to know who they were fighting!
My brother used to warm up orthadox and come out of his corner orthodox... Then switch :D

We both used to fight at light heavy, if we were on the same show we'd try and confuse people as to which twin they were actually fighting as we both fought differently.

Never any WWE stylie jumping under the ring and twin number 2 coming out? ;D
Wasted opportunity right there.
Re: so the Haye/Booth gameplan is to fight southpaw ??
lol... it has been discussed... what we'd need to do is kill the lights so that nobody saw.
