Haye vs Wlad commentator on the Aussie Broadcast..WTF!!!
No offence to the brits but what the fuck is with your commentators. We had one for our broadcast and all he could do was talk about how Haye was rocking Wlad constantly in the first 3 rounds and that it was an absolutely exciting fight. He was on Hayes dick all day...until the end of the 12th where he says Haye was down by at least 4 rounds. Ive never come that close to turning down the volume on a big fight just to get rid of the guy talking, Haye would throw a looping right which missed by miles and it was apparently a massive connection to Wlads head lol
Ok my venting is done and yes I know aussie commentators are terrible too- "Danny Green has become a legend by beating a legend"...now that was a fucking joke lol

To be fair Danny Green is a legend in Australian boxing, I mean outside of Jeff Fenech have you ever had a native born Aussie do more than him?

While HBO's crew wasn't saying that haye was winning the first 3 rounds (in fact Lederman scored it 2-1 Wlad after 3 rounds and Lampley and Merchant would have agreed), Lampley was excited at Haye punches that missed.
On multiple occasions Merchant told Lampley he was wrong. Lampley got excited at a few attempted punches by Haye (as did the Brits in the crowd). Merchant pointed out that nothing landed. A right hand landed and Lampley started getting excited which seemed to insinuate that it did something. Merchant pointed out it didn't do any damage.
At one point Haye landed a right hand then did nothing to follow up. Didn't even attempt a punch for around 40-45 seconds. Merchant said something like, landed a right hand and followed up with...... (pause like only merchant can) NOTHING.
Even when Haye lands a decent shot during the fight it is hard to give him the round (i only gave him 2 rounds).
