No they didn't. Haye was 13/8 and Wlad was 4/7. Don't know how you americans work out those decimal odds so hope you understand our way :)
That's 100% wrong - as rjj tszyu said.
The bookies have made a bundle though becuse of "mug" (patriotic) money. Haye was a shorter price than he should have been.

Haye took the payday and said F -you to the British fans. He didnt even try to win. Shows you what he thinks of all the fans that traveled to support him.
They could have done but being the british odds meant the bookies will have cleaned up. Before the fight Hatton held the record for most bet on british fighter when he fought Mayweather. The bloke from Sky Bet said that Haye was gong to take that record when he had his say on friday night. Brits are very patriotic when it comes to betting on their own fighters hence the reason the odds were close.Quote:
