Boxing - Kimbo Slice opponent named
I was hoping it would be Mercer after the debacle that was their MMA "exhibition" fight, that there are strong rumours Mercer was paid to throw and after watching Mercer vs Sylvia I might have to believe there may be some truth in those rumours. Anyway Instead it is this guy!

lol I wonder why he passed the selection process and not somebody else... do you think they stuck a list of old novices who've only fought once and been KO'd in a round into a hat and drew out the first name?
I just think they want to cash on Kimbo's image as much as possible before he's exposed once more "i.e within 2 fights max". Can't blame Kimbo for trying to make a living though.
Be funny if he gets sparked off this guy though!
I've watched the Mercer MMA bout and I don't think Mercer threw the fight, I just think he had ZERO mma training going into that fight and got choked out. Kinda wish he did throw the fight as it was pathetic.Quote:

Anyway this Wade fellow looks like the perfect opponent for Kimbo, unless Kimbo gases out and can't KO him before the 4th round.
MMA fighters going to boxing would get killed just like a boxer going to MMA. They are just too different. Boxers that can punch do have the advantage though because if they can get that one shot in that is all it takes.
He should fight James Toney.
We've had a novice mma fighter (toney) versus an old veteran (randy cotoure)
Lets have a frankly novice boxer (kimbo) versus an old, fat veteran (toney)
